This blog is an account of Jacob and Mike's (Skippy) cross-country trip to move Jacob from Chicago, IL to Irvine, CA. We decided we'd document the trip by making a blog post for every hundred miles we drove, in addition to anything else of interest. There is a map that I made with a thumb tack in each place where we wrote a blog post.

Half way to nowhere

4:23PM MDT | N38°53'29" W110°38'30"

We just left Green River, UT and we are now about a quarter of the way through the 110 mile void that the signs warned us about. Which means we are just about half way to the middle of nowhere.

Jacob and I got lunch at Blimpy's in Green River and took pictures of the actual Green River, sang Green River, and in general had a splendid time.

That's all for now. It's been a while since we've had reliable Internet access so I'm anxious to get this posted up on the web.
